Drama Club

Drama has been recognized as an extra curricular subject who benefits the learning and development of young children. There are three main strands to the effective use of drama: A means to build children’s confidence and develop their social skills; A teaching approach for exploring cross-curricular subjects and issues, and an aid in developing children’s performance and self-presentation skills. These strands often overlap or interact.

Having children learn through drama provides them with skills, knowledge and understanding that cannot be achieved in the same way with any other subject and that feeds into all other areas of their school and personal lives.
